Ford Australia – South Australian Cricket Association

As the major partner of One Day Cricket Series in Australia, Ford sought a program that would drive traffic to its extensive Dealer Network and return a positive experience to participants.

Using myriad channels, Ford encouraged people to enter teams to play in a series of matches to be held on suburban beaches during the summer months. Entry was to take place at Ford Dealership, where you collected your teams playing kit to wear at the match. 

The great thing about these events were they were open to teams of multiple ages and encouraged families and friends to participate. The final day of matches had surprise visits from favourite players, including Darren Lehmann who took to wickets. 

The program gained traction and was held over a number of summers with participants and Dealers all being the winners.
