One year on from travelling with us to Guangzhou, Major Moogy Sumner welcomed guests to Adelaide with warmth and feeling before Premier Steven Marshall officially opened the event, wishing delegates well for the following days.

More than 1,000 delegates and state and federal ministers attended, enjoying drinks and canapes as the sun set on the River Torrens and Adelaide Oval.

The 25th World Routes Aviation Conference in Adelaide marked the first time this international conference has been hosted anywhere in Southern Hemisphere…. a significant first for the South Australia bid team.

The highlight of the night was a stunning music and dance collaboration written and choregraphed to a spectacular synchronised pyrotechnics display …a stunning backdrop to a cultural performance.
